Long Term Parking
Phoenix, Arizona
Not every landscape needs to be made of mountains and oceans. Sometimes, it’s concrete, steel, and fleeting moments of motion. I was drawn to this parking garage ramp not for what it was, but for how it moved—at least, how the light moved through it. The static curves of the structure felt like a quiet canvas, while the soft trails of headlights and taillights painted brief lives onto it. I love how something as ordinary as a parking ramp can become abstract, elegant—even poetic—when seen through a different lens.
