Taken in the dramatic wilds of Sjøvassbotn, this image captures a fleeting moment when the clouds carved a perfect line across the mountains, allowing the peak to rise like a figure from legend. The forests below were hushed, the air thick with mist and anticipation. This is why I photograph landscapes—to catch places in moods, not just moments. To show mountains not as scenery, but as characters. There’s something in this scene that feels timeless and unknowable, like the earth remembering something it won’t share.
