Just outside of Dunfanaghy, County Donegal, this small mountain rises from the folds of the Irish countryside like an ancient sentinel. The weather was in that classic Irish mood brooding skies, a hint of sun breaking through, and a wind that never seems to stop whispering. I was drawn to how the stone walls zigzag through the fields, the lone tree bracing itself against time, and how the mountain quietly anchors everything. These are the kinds of landscapes that aren’t screaming for attention they simply exist, holding generations of stories in their soil and stone.
